How far in advance should a wedding cake be ordered?

We recommend ordering as early as you can, generally at least a few weeks in advance for a wedding cake. This gives us plenty of time to plan the design, order any special supplies or toppers, and ensure everything is perfect. Many couples reserve their date with us months ahead (some even a year in advance, just for peace of mind!). However, we know life isn’t always predictable. If you have a more last-minute need, don’t panic – we have been known to fulfill wedding cake orders on very short notice, even within the same week or same day in emergency situations. So even if your wedding is around the corner, give us a call and we’ll do everything we can to help. In general though, the more advance notice you can give, the better, to guarantee availability and a smooth process.
