What kind of pineapple is used in your Pineapple Perfection cake (and pastries)?

We use all-natural canned pineapple in our Pineapple Perfection cake and pastry. The pineapple we use is 100% real fruit, packed in its own juice with no artificial preservatives. We’ve found that using high-quality canned pineapple provides a consistently sweet, fresh pineapple taste in every bite, all year round. It also ensures the fruit is soft and melds perfectly with the cake layers and cream. (Using fresh pineapple can sometimes be less consistent in sweetness and texture, so we opt for the best canned fruit to maintain quality.)
